ok ok, if you know me. I'm not an extremely religious person. Spiritual, yeah. But I don't adhere to a certain religion, necessarily (born Catholic, and i attended an evangelical, non-denominational congregation at one point in high school). Anyway, please send good thoughts/prayers our way to get Meghan into the feeding clinic at Hershey Medical Center. Of Course, her insurance covers the center itself, but not the feeding clinic.
Since CHOP was such an EPIC failure..... I'm hoping this would work out much better. Especially since Meghans stroke was in the sensory core of her brain. CHOP's approach (and it may sound like I'm bashing their program. I'm not. Just saying it wasn't a perfect fit for our family), takes more of a psychological approach. Hershey is sensory based, sees more autistic spectrum kids... the director came from Kennedy Krieger, and comes highly recommended by the kids' developmental pediatricican (she trained him many, many years ago).
Ok, Seans BSC from wraparound will be here any minute. Thank you for your continued support! we just had a wonderful thing happen to us yesterday, after a huge bureaucratic battle, we fixed everything regarding the kids insurance, et al. wooo! now we don't have to worry about it for another year.
